I just stumbled upon this track right here.It was a live performance around the time when "Things fall Apart" came out.I didnt know that Jill Scott wrote Erykah Badu's part on that song.Anyways, on this one, Jill Scott performs that part and superbly, I must add.It was her first appearance to the world, I presume.A must listen.

PS check out the madd madd drumming toward the end of the song........Questlove is on another level.Damn, skippy.

Nice joint; it's off the "Roots come alive" album, recorded in Switzerland. Overall, a pretty cool album...Blk Thought comes thru' proper as one of the best live performers around

this dude plays one handed while switching his afropick into another positions and at the same time talks to someone .... and he plays a mad beat without a single mistake ... it is absolutely incredible! that was 94 when we had the roots at boogaloo club in berlin (first gig ever in europe).  and he just get better and better and better ...  
just two drummers impressed me more .... maceo parkers drummer and idris muhammad (playing 3,5 hours live at that age!)
