anyways i went throough to melkweg last night and after much standing around in the freezing cold they let me in and straight to the bar i went. there was a nice dj kid spinning some cla**ics, i even caaught some track with kweli and super mf villain-i was amped but doom not an idol here like back home.
there was some hyped up opening acts spitting the local gang dialect...wasting some nice beats...plus they weren't flowing like raymtzer and them the other night. sadly i had heard the same tracks on radio earlier on...so i could relate to my cats dead prez when they coined the phrase turn off the radio
then short mc dude jumps off the stage and beats down a crowd member for no reason. i think he was copycatting el-p from the revenge of the robots flick...i brought it to his crewmate afterward who excused himself and had to go too the loo
after much wackness redman got put on and repped the apeshit. he was ill dropping the cla**ics girls rhymin along et cetera. won't say much for his hypeman though...plus his first stagedive was a failure
after much deliberation redman called on his boy meth to come on some suprise guest shit. he killed it no doubt..almost as soon as it began, sadly it was over. and i was far from sober by this point. you missed out
