AM I STILL A HIPHOP HEAD??

the other day i heard a hiphop track by Erick Sermon that samples some cla**ical Indian shit... i would not have known it was a hiphop track if my 5-year old did not turn the volume on the car system up...

so i figure...

if the only hiphop i know are the shit see on MTV and VH1 (i don´t buy hiphop music anymore)

CAN I STILL BE CONSIDERED A HIPHOP HEAD?

AM I OUT OF TOUCH TOUCH TO THE EXTENT THAT HIPHOP IS NOT FOR ME ANYMORE??

OR IS THE LINE BETWEEN HIPHOP AND POP SO BLURRED YOU DON´T KNOW WHAT IS WHAT ANYMORE??

as for being and not being a head it goes further than bin up to date with the lasted trends and shit...

being a head nowadays is confused by the fact that when so called heads meet they talk about the lastest shit..

heads have the abilityto talk about anything hip hop related..
hip hop has always bin about bin used as an outtlet , escapisim tool, expression tool
basically is about you and interacting with your environment
so unless you have stopped interacting with your environment i say you a head.

maybe not the most up to date mc but a head no the less

the track is called react..

i hope you understood me..i have the inability to textualise my thoughts

Some time ago I heard French Hiphop is the biggest industry out of the US. I was with a french cat some other day. Heard that French Hiphop is on a downward spiral ?

personnaly i´d rather listen to japanese rap...french as a lauguage makes me wanna puke when i hear it

i was given 4cds french hip hop /featuring sun of man, trumaster produced some of the tracks ..the beats were hot as f*** but when those french cats started rapping i just became unexplicably irrate ..i think the french language really really annoys the shit outta me
