I´d like to know where you heads buy cd´s, especially if you´re in cape town. I spend about R199 and up per cd I purchase these days. does anyone know any less expensive places(in Cape Town).

if you are in Cape Town...
there´s this whiteboy named Gavin on Greenmarket Square..
he sells crazy rare hiphop... and R&B... and whatever else is big..
bought about half of my 700 strong cd collection (this was in 1999) from him...
paid on average R70 per cd... and when i bought 4 or 5 at a time i got mad discounts... at one time he even gave me a Rock Steady Crew vinyl as part of my discount.. THIS WAS BETWEEN 1997 AND 2000... i dunno if he´s still there...

milk..i feel you on that, i´ve resorted to burning cd´s...i can´t afford em´ nomo. in jhb the average price i pay for a cd is from200-320....that´s whe i quit, i but local though...

My friends,
do what i do. Get yourself an ISDN, a lil more expensive than a dial up. Get the callmore 7rant thingie, and go download anything you ever wanted to listen to. its so cool being a computer nerd eh. I mean, after you get 6 albums on a monday night, you´ll never turn back.
