The South African team will depart on the 20th October 2004, to represent us at the World Breakdance Championship in Germany – Battle of the Year. This farewell gives the locals an opportunity to see the show they will be doing in Germany. We are also hosting a Breakdance Knockout Battle…

DJ the Angelo will play the latest hip hop party tracks, some old skool hip hop and some old skool “huisjol” tacks for the parents. This event acts as the first of an intended monthly fundraiser for next years African Hip Hop Indaba and Battle of the Year. The best crew wins R1000 cash and runners up also win prizes of hip hop products like clothing, CDs, tapes, videos etc. We will also hand out diplomas for the winners of African Hip Hop Indaba 2004 various hip hop categories. The video of African Hip Hop Indaba 2004, the DVD of 2003, spraycan art magazines and other hip hop products will be on sale at the “Hip Hop Corner Shop” on the night. Hope to see you all at the Farewell and “Knockout” battle.
