This week we profile Shynin Armour, a member of the Black Army Movement (BAM) crew. Shynin Armour was born in Meadowlands, Soweto (South Africa) and started following the Hip Hop movement during the mid 90’s. We also feature the first single called “Word Play” which features Dark Spark [Prod. Tuxman, Dynami & P2daoH] from his 3rd album titled RUGGED 3//3 dropping 27th April 2011.

Following a string of single and video releases, Dallas, Texas duo A.Dd+ (pronounced A.D.D., with the plus sign silent), a group comprised of rappers Slim Gravy and Paris Pershun, is excited to finally release their debut album, When Pigs Fly. Beginning today, the album, which the Dallas Observer recently hailed as “Nothing short of a classic,” is being offered to fans for free download, available through the group’s Bandcamp page.

For Princeton, New Jersey native Kyle Rapps, recording a song with one his top influences and heroes in h-hop, The Teacher himself, Blast Master KRS-One was easily a full circle move for him. “I used to study his song structures, rhyme patterns and live shows,” remembers Kyle.

The group Trinity is comprised of emcees AG (Showbiz & AG), Sadat X (Brand Nubian) and DJ Jab (Fat Beats Records Owner). All three individuals have left their own imprint in the hip-hop world and by joining forces, Trinity is gearing up to bring forth the sounds of old and bring back the boom-bap hip-hop that is missing in today’s musical landscape.
