Afrikaans rapper and producer Dokte will release a Special Edition of his ‘Maak Mekaa Sterk’ album on 8 April 2011.

Dokte – member and producer of award-winning Afrikaans Rap group Kallitz – has delayed the release of his highly anticipated new album ‘Die Afspraak’ to make way for a Special Edition version of his ‘Maak Mekaa Sterk’ album.

The original ‘Maak Mekaa Sterk’ album was released exclusively as a digital release and now fans can get the album on CD in the form of the Special Edition.

The new version, with the official title as ‘Maak Mekaa Sterk – Spesiale Uitgawe’, includes new versions, new additional tracks, a revised tracklist and new album artwork. There are 12 tracks in total and all tracks have been re-mixed and re-mastered for the CD release.

Dokte will announce the release officially to the crowd at the KKNK at around 5pm on Friday 8 April 2011 while onstage at the Amphitheatre in Oudtshoorn, afterwhich fans will be able to immediately purchase copies of the album.

Catch Dokte on stage along with Boere as Kallitz take the stage at the following times at the KKNK this weekend:

17h00 Friday 8 April 2011: Oudtshoorn Amphitheatre

20h00 Saturday 9 April 2011: MK Stage
